Music Stop Animation

I chose the topic music for my stop animation. I chose this because it is a huge part of my life, and I can not live without it. This was a little more challenging than I expected it to be, because I was not as advanced to sync the pictures with the music. I thought this would have been on the easier and fun side of technology, but just like every other project there is always some challenge and something to learn. I would rate my stop animation around a 6 or 7 because it did not turn out as cool as I wanted it to be. I was hoping I could use my artistic abilities to create a fun and cool looking project, but apparently all my abilities go down the drain when it comes to white boards. I would have better time management and better positioning of the camera. I wanted it to look more like a fun way of creating a music video, but that plan backfired. I believe that my animation was different than the rest because, I used a personal topic to me and created a fun way to show what I do with any free time I have. My music shows my personality and that song was my absolute favorites, "Skinny Love." I do not think I completely deserve a full 100% just because I know I could have done better with what time I had, and put more effort to look and find the pictures that did not focus completely or were weird looking. I did learn many things and new programs, and the next time I do something like this I know what I can fix.

Unethical Practice

I believe that people use unethical practices in academics when they are stressed and have a lot on their plate. This way they do not have to do all of the work that they are required to do. I personally believe Sandra and Mahomid's case should have not been as harsh. Most people would not think of working with a friend do a paper when someone says plagiarism. I thought to be expelled by this action was a severe consequence. Especially for Sandra who did her work. With the act plagiarism on their record they will have a harder time finding another college to go to, that will accept them. This will travel along with them for all of their life. If any of them wanted to become a writer or a journalist, they would have a harder more difficult time finding a job that will trust them to write in their own words. This also applies with any job, they will all have harder times with people trusting them. I have not decided on the college I want to attend but, I do know that between the ones I am deciding on there is still a huge consequence for any use of plagiarism.

Sphero Investigations

                  

          In Speed, Time, and Distance, we learned that the more speed and time used, the farther sphero would go down the hall. We also learned that the farther sphero goes, the more time it will take, and the speed must be higher to reach the same point as with less speed. The commands were to change the time taken and the speed setting, and sphero was able to go faster as time and speed increased.

 In 2D Geometry, we learned that we could change sphero's colors with different percentages, and you can change angles by dividing the number of sides by 360 degrees. If you program sphero to have 100%  red and 100%  green, you can make yellow, and if you have 100% red and 100% blue, you can make a really deep purple. It was easier finding these percentages out with a past in art classes knowing what colors mixed make the right colors.

Collusion

What's the point of being tracked? What is the benefit of tracking people? Collusion shows how many websites track your activity on the internet, even though you have only directly been to a couple of websites. Adds, commercializing, and others track your activity after you have been to one website. This is a picture of collusion. Collusion is an app that you can put on a device that shows you who, and how many websites can see what you are doing on the internet. The blue dots are the websites you have directly visited, the red dots are the websites tracking your activity, and the grey dots are the other websites connected to them.

Loopy

Loopy is an amazing app, that is fun and easy to use. Loopy is an app that creates sound tracks and loops them over and over creating harmonies, and inspirational sound tracks. I love to use loopy to experiment with harmonies; what sounds better, what can I do with my own voice? I use loopy so I am able to do all of the music at once. Loopy is a fun and a great app for experienced musicians and people who just want to mess around with music. Loopy is available on any apple device on the app store.
